ABOUT

Ensuring success through time, hard work, and dedication.

At Wyoming Machinery Company, we embody those principles with our investment in our people, our customers, and Wyoming. We are not just a heavy equipment dealer—we are your friend, your neighbor, and your partner. Be assured that when you work with us, we will exceed your expectations.

What We Do

Wyoming Machinery Company provides the best in Cat equipment sales, rental parts, and service across Wyoming. We also sell and service other allied equipment built by manufacturers that complement the Caterpillar equipment line.

Our Values

Safety. Integrity. Commitment. Excellence. Teamwork. We live by these five core values every day. They unite us as a company and remind us to do our best for you.

Where We Started

Our story started in 1969 in a small building on ‘F’ Street in Casper, when Wyoming Machinery Company was awarded the Caterpillar sales and service agreement for 16 of Wyoming’s 23 counties. On that day, we made a commitment to provide the best support possible for the Caterpillar brand.

We wasted no time in showing our dedication by opening our doors to the new Casper facility in 1976, where we have stood strong ever since. Wishing to provide other areas with the same Cat equipment and service, we opened additional dealerships in Cheyenne, Gillette, and Rock Springs.

Mining Opportunities

In 2012, another landmark was established in Gillette. There, we purchased Caterpillar’s Expanded Mining Business.  In 2018, Wyoming Machinery Company grew that expansion with the opening of Dragline Service Specialties.  Headquartered in Casper, Wyoming with two main facilities in Gillette, Wyoming and Tyler, Texas, DSS provides parts and service support to our mining customers throughout the United States, covering every state but Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina.

Ongoing Commitment

In over 50 years, the one thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to our people, our customers, and Wyoming. When we sell equipment, we see it through to the end. With high-quality parts and impeccable service, fluid analysis, equipment monitoring, and more, we make sure our customers have the machine uptime they deserve.
